Fired Easton officer Grady Cunningham returns to the job

He was initially fired for incident last year

EASTON, Pa. - A Lehigh County police officer who was fired for an incident caught on tape is back on the job.

Fountain Hill officer Grady Cunningham reported to work Monday morning for the first time since being let go earlier this year.

He was fired in February after a tape surfaced that showed an incident from last year.

Officials say the tape shows Cunningham choking a suspect that was in handcuffs and throwing him to the ground.

Cunningham's dismissal was challenged by the Fraternal Order of Police and overturned by an arbitrator.
