Gun control group wants controversial police chief Mark Kessler ousted

Group posted billboard asking Gilberton to fire chief

Billboard calls for chief's firing

GILBERTON, Pa. - A gun control group is speaking its mind about a Schuylkill County police chief who's been the focus of controversy.

A billboard calling on Gilberton Borough Council to fire Police Chief Mark Kessler has been posted.

Kessler was suspended from his job for allegedly using department weapons and ammunition to make videos online that show him firing gun, using profanity, and mocking liberals.

The Coalition to Stop Gun Violence is calling for Kessler's removal.

He calls the billboard "comical," saying he won't stop exercising his First and Second Amendment rights.
