Homicide by vehicle charges in Salford accident

A deadly car crash, in which a victim was ejected, has resulted in homicide charges.

Police have charged 21-year-old Sean Sperl with homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence.

Investigators say the Lansdale man was driving a car that crashed on Route 563 in Salford Township in April.

His passenger, 21-year-old Ryan Petrille, from Lansdale, was thrown from the car and killed.
