Homicide charges likely to be filed against standoff suspect

WARMINSTER, Pa. - Bucks County investigators say homicide charges will likely be filed against the Warminster man who engaged police in a seven-hour standoff.

Officials say Marie Zienkewicz, 89, was shot and killed in the standoff between Andrew Cairns and police on Feb. 19.

Authorities still have not made a determination on whether the fatal shot was fired by the suspect or police.

Cairns has already been charged with attempted murder for allegedly shooting at police.
