HS RUNDOWN: Liberty sweeps Freedom

Liberty, Emmaus, and Parkland all rolled to statement wins Friday night, while Easton needed a buzzerbeater to escape Bethlehem Catholic.

Liberty remained undefeated on the season with a 64-52 win over Freedom.

At halftime of the game, the schools' student section leaders read a tribute to the victims of last week's Connecticut shooting tragedy.

Emmaus earned a big 66-48 win at Central Catholic in Rockne Hall, while Parkland got a 61-42 home win over Whitehall.

The Hurricanes, Hornets, and Trojans all remain undefeated in the LVC and stay in sole possession of first place in their respective divisions.

Easton needed a buzzerbeater putback by Ezra Gaines to eke out a 57-55 win at Bethlehem Catholic.
