HS RUNDOWN: Parkland, Pen Argyl fall; Wyomissing rolls

Parkland and Pen Argyl each saw their season come to an end today in the PIAA state quarterfinals. 

Wyomissing, meanwhile, advanced to the state semifinal round.

Parkland fell to La Salle 28-7 in a PIAA 4A state quarterfinal in Philadelphia.  The loss snapped Parkland's 11-game winning streak.  The Trojans end their season at 11-3.

Pen Argyl fell to Imhotep Charter 54-7 in at PIAA 2A state quarterfinal at Northern Lehigh High School.  The Green Knights end their season at 11-3.

Wyomissing will face Imhotep Charter next week in the PIAA 2A state semifinal round.  The Spartans beat Danville 52-0 in Hershey to improve to 14-0.
