IronPigs top Tides, stretch win streak to five

The IronPigs broke open a 2-2 tie with two runs in the eighth inning to earn a 4-2 win over Norfolk Saturday night at Coca-Cola Park.

The win stretches the 'Pigs' winning streak to a season-high five in a row.

The game-winning run came home on a Norfolk throwing error, allowing Josh Fields to score from second.

Leandro Castro went 3-for-4 with an RBI to pace the IronPigs offense.

J.C. Ramirez (1-1, 7.45) picked up the win in relief for the 'Pigs.

The IronPigs (23-25) will wrap up their homestand against the Tides on Sunday at 1:35pm at Coca-Cola Park.
