It's A Book-Lover's Dream Come True

ONTELAUNEE TWP., Pa. - More than 50,000 books are available at this year's Book Bonanza.

It's going on all this weekend at the Leesport Farmers Market in Ontelaunee Township, Berks County.

Officials said it takes 100 volunteers to organize the three and a half truck loads of books along with DVDs, VHS tapes, and puzzles.

We brought loads and loads of puzzles and we have a very good selection of those and there's games and other things for adults and children, said Joan Cook. And we were able to get as many books up on the tables as possible.

The Book Bonanza goes from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Sunday.

Proceeds fund scholarships and programs at local libraries.
