Judge denies attempt to block Susquehanna-Roseland power line
A federal judge has ruled in favor of a hotly-debated power line project in the Poconos.
A judge has dismissed an attempt by environmental groups to block construction of the Susquehanna-Roseland power line next week.
PPL and PSE&G are collaborating on the project.
The power line will run through Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.
Environmental groups say it will harm the park.
But the utilities say the project is necessary to sustain the region's power grid.
