Klementovich to use temporary insanity defense

A New Jersey cop who's accused of shooting at Bucks County cops is using a "temporary insanity" defense.

Richard Klementovich's lawyer has filed a motion to make that argument.

Police say Klementovich shot at officers last June after barricading himself inside the Doylestown home of his estranged wife.

Doctors hired by the defense say Klementovich suffered from psychiatric conditions during the incident including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Bi-Polar Disorder.

Klementovich's lawyer says this is an attempted "suicide by cop" case.

He says the Gulf War Veteran never wanted to hurt anyone.
