Lafayette uses long ball to race past NJIT

Lafayette shot 50 percent from three-point land Wednesday night in an 83-66 win over NJIT at the Kirby Sports Center.

The Leopards made 13-of-26 three-pointers on the night, including a 5-of-6 effort from Seth Hinrichs.

Hinrichs led the Leopards with 21 points, while Tony Johnson added 15.

Lafayette (6-10) will visit Penn in Philadelphia next Tuesday night.
