Lafayette wins second straight Patriot League Championship

Deanna DiCroce's overtime goal earned the Lafayette field hockey team its second straight Patriot League Championship on Saturday.

DiCroce's goal on a penalty shot in overtime earned the Leopards a 2-1 win over American at Rappolt Field at the Metzgar Complex.

The title is the second in a row for the Leopards, who are ranked No. 11 in the country.

Lafayette earns the Patriot League's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
