Lafayette women win third straight; men fall

The Lafayette women picked up their third straight win by knocking off first place American 49-47 on Saturday at the Kirby Sports Center.

Emily Homan led the way for Lafayette with a game-high 15 points.

After starting 0-4, the Leopards have rallied for three straight wins entering the midway point of the Patriot League season.

The Lafayette men fell at American 68-64 at Bender Arena in Washington D.C.

The Leopards take a 4-3 record into the midway point of their conference schedule.
