Lehigh draws Duke in NCAA Tournament

Lehigh draws Duke

Lehigh has drawn the Duke Blue Devils in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

The Mountain Hawks will be the No. 15 seed in the South Regional bracket.

They will face No. 2 Duke in Greensboro, NC, on Friday.

Lehigh, which beat Bucknell last Wednesday to win the Patriot League Championship, will carry a 26-7 record into the tournament.  Duke is 27-6.

The two teams shared just two common opponents this year.

Lehigh lost to non-league road games to Michigan State and St. John's.  Duke beat both of those teams at home.

This will mark Lehigh's second trip to the NCAA Tournament in the last three years.

The Mountain Hawks lost to top-seeded Kansas in the first round of the 2010 Tournament.
