Lehigh looks to push win streak to 6 at Holy Cross

>> wendy davis: you have to go back to september 10th to find the last loss for lehigh on the gridiron. the mountain hawks, sizzling as they head on the road again this weekend. wfmz's dave lesko has more. 3 3 dave leskosaturday against georgetown, nick shafnisky threw for 101 yards with a touchdown and and interception before leaving early in the 2nd quarter with an injury. brad mayes came in and didn't miss a beat, throwing for 247 yards with two touchdowns and a pick as lehigh won their fifth straight, downing the hoyas, 35-3.brad mayes"it's a lot different coming off the bench rather than having the preparation to be the starter, because you know you get to go in and be the starter on the first play of the game. but it took me a few throws last week to get into a rhythm, but once we get going, it doesn't really matter who's out there, either of us, we're still going to make plays."julian lynn"we were strong the whole game, only giving up that one field goal like you said. we talk about doing your one-eleventh, and focusing on play at a time, and we aimed on that, and did that, and really came out with a positive game."dave lesko saturday the brown and white look to extend their five game win streak when they travel to worcester to take on holy cross. the 3-4 crusaders are coming off a ten point win over harvard. their defense is ranked fifth in the patriot league, allowing almost 30 points per game, but they'll bring the pressure as they lead the league in sacks with twenty over their first seven games.andy coen"they lead the league in quarterback sacks, and largely without blitzing too much. they're very strong. they're veteran guys on the defensive front. and even on the offensive side of the ball, they're big, strong guys and a veteran group there. they've got a lot of weapons, dave, i think we're really going to be tested here." brad mayes"i think this week, we got to really focus on not turning the ball over and scoring in the red zone, because those both could have hurt us last week. we had two turnovers in the red zone. we should have came away with seven points. if we can just execute in the red zone, we should be a tough team to beat."in bethlehem, dave lesko 69
