Lehigh routs Lafayette in regular season finale

The Lehigh men's lacrosse team routed Lafayette 14-5 Saturday night in their regular season finale at the Ulrich Sports Complex.

Dan Taylor had four goals and seven points while David DiMaria had three goals and three assists for the Mountain Hawks.

Lehigh wraps up its regular season at 10-4 overall and a perfect 6-0 in the Patriot League.

The Mountain Hawks are the No. 1 seed and will host next weekend's Patriot League Tournament.

They will face No. 4 Colgate in the semifinal round on Friday night at the Ulrich Sports Complex.

Lafayette ends its season at 3-10 and 0-6 in Patriot League play.

The Lafayette women's lacrosse team clinched its first Patriot League playoff berth since 2004 on Saturday.
