Man struck by minivan, police looking for driver

UPPER MACUNGIE TWP., Pa. - A man is suffering from a broken arm and leg Wednesday night, after he was struck by a car in Upper Macungie.

It happened on Ruppsville Rd. north of Grange Rd. at about 7 p.m. and Upper Macungie police are searching for the "hit and run" driver.

The pewter-colored mini van will be missing a passenger side mirror with damage to the front quarter panel, according to police.

The pedestrian was walking northbound on the fog line because there are no sidewalks in that area, police say.

The mini van was driving northbound too.

Police say the injuries are non-life threatening and the investigation is on-going.
