1 injured in Easton drive-by shooting

EASTON, Pa. - A man was injured after being shot from a passing vehicle in Easton Saturday night, according to Easton police.

Police responded at 11:41 p.m. to a call at the 300 block of Palmer Street.

On arrival, officers located a 34-year-old male, who was transported to an area hospital for what appeared to be a gunshot wound.

The  man was treated and released from the hospital.

Police talked to witnesses at the scene and recovered evidence relating to the incident.

The car fled north from the 300 block of Palmer Street toward Williams Street after the shooting.

Easton police detectives continue to investigate the incident.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call police.

People can call Inspector Daniel Reagan at 610-250-6796 or leave information with the anonymous tip line at 610-250-6635.
