Police pursuit

Authorities say a 22-year-old man man was driving under the influence when he led police on a 10-mile chase through Bucks and Lehigh counties before finally being nabbed in Allentown.

State police say the pursuit began around 1:20 a.m. Saturday when officers tried to pull over a suspicious vehicle with no headlights on pulling out of a car dealership on Route 309 in  Richland Township, Bucks County.

Police say the vehicle, driven by Christopher Soto-Rosado of Allentown, sped off as officers signaled for him to pull over.

Police say the pursuit continued for about 10 miles before Allentown police were able to apprehend the vehicle's two occupants on Blue Heron Drive.

The driver, Soto-Rosado, was arrested for suspicion of DUI. Police say additional charges will be filed in connection with the pursuit.
