EASTON, Pa. - An 18-year-old woman who Easton police say was involved in a deadly car crash in early June after she sped away from another crash was wanted on a warrant related to a theft charge.

According to court records, Mazell Truss did not appear for a May 22 court hearing for a retail theft charge which was followed by a judge requesting a bench warrant for her arrest.

On June 2, Truss was behind the wheel during a series of crashes, according to police.

The first was a minor crash near Larry Holmes and Lehigh Drives.

Police say she fled onto Lehigh Drive and hit two other cars.

A 64-year-old woman in one of those cars was killed.

Police say the crash remains under investigation.

So far, no charges have been filed.
