2 men facing charges in Bethlehem gang-related murder

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Police have charged Kasheem Aiken and Xavier Snyder with the death of 19-year-old Teayahe Glover.

Investigators said Glover was killed in a "gang-related retaliatory" shooting on Feb. 8, 2017 in south Bethlehem just days after her boyfriend was shot at a party.

Northampton County District Attorney John Morganelli said Xavier Snyder lured Glover outside on that night until Kasheem Aiken arrived.

Investigators said Aiken shot Glover several times then left her body on the sidewalk in front of Holy Ghost cemetery.

Investigators said both suspects were part of Crips-affiliated gangs in the Lehigh Valley.

"These kind of people cannot live in society. They're a danger to the community. They need to be warehoused for a long, long time,” Morganelli said.

Glover's murder had been unsolved until witnesses testified in front of a grand jury, which recommended charges.

Investigators said the secrecy of a grand jury often helps crack these kinds of cases.

“It is an excellent law enforcement tool especially in cases in which we have gangs involved….a grand jury can bring that wall of silence down,” said Mark DiLuzio, Bethlehem Police Chief.
