Incident happened at Lehigh County home

Man hurt in fireworks incident

WASHINGTON TWP., Pa. - A 21-year-old man was injured while setting off fireworks Wednesday morning in Lehigh County, police said.

A 69News crew on the scene talked to the owner of the property where the incident happened around 9 a.m. in the 6500 block of Walnut Street in Washington Township.

The property owner said the injured man was a construction worker, who was doing work at the property at the time of the accident.

Officials said the man was taken to a local hospital but there's no word on his condition.
