3 die in Allentown crash

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - The Lehigh County coroner's office has identified the three people who died in a crash in Allentown.

Chad Fluck, 23, Thomas Fallstich Jr., 46 and Kenneth Marcks, 35, all lived together at 1743 E. Susquehanna St., Allentown.

The accident happened around 10:40 p.m. Sunday in the 700 block of East Susquehanna Street, near Halstead Street, officials said.

Police said both vehicles involved in the accident were traveling eastbound on Susquehanna at a high rate of speed and both drivers lost control.

Fluck was the driver in one car carrying the three men who died. That car ended up hitting a tree.

The driver of the other vehicle involved was taken to St. Luke's Hospital in Fountain Hill with serious injuries, police said, but has been released.

The police department's accident reconstruction team was called to the scene to investigate.

Police said the occupants of both cars knew each other, and officers are checking to see if they were racing at the time of the crash.

The coroner's office said autopsies will be performed Tuesday to determine the exact cause of the men's deaths, which were ruled accidental.
