A 'Bluetiful' addition to Crayola

Company reveals name for its newest crayon

FORKS TWP., Pa. - Crayola announced earlier this year that it was adding a new color to its 24-pack of crayons.

Now the crayon has a name.

The Northampton County-based crayon manufacturer announced on its website Thursday that it's named the new color "Bluetiful." The winning selection came from a short list of possibilities culled from about 90,000 suggestions the company received.

The other possibilities included Dreams Come True, Star Spangled Blue, Blue Moon Bliss and Reach for the Stars.

Crayola announced earlier this year that it was retiring the color dandelion. Bluetiful will be availble later this year.
