A-Treat looks for heroes to be featured on company's label

OREFIELD, Pa. - A-Treat Soda is launching a new campaign to honor selfless individuals giving back to their community.

The company's first annual A-Treat Heroes campaign is asking individuals to nominate someone who they believe is an "A-Treat Hero" by nominating them on A-Treat's website.

The campaign is set to run through Feb. 19 when A-Treat will select six finalists who will receive a $500 donation to the nonprofit of their choice.

Finalists will also be featured on the official A-Treat Soda Facebook page, where fans will get to vote for a grand prize winner.

The winning individual's story and photo will be showcased on the label of A-Treat's 20oz Cream Soda. The company says 10 percent of all proceeds will be donated to the winner's charity.

“Our community is comprised of many different kinds of heroes – from active volunteers at shelters, soup kitchens and non-profit organizations, to community firefighters, police officers and doctors,” said Luke Jaindl, A-Treat General Manager. “It’s time these individuals were recognized for their compassionate actions."
