Allentown joins contest for dog park

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Allentown is giving a national contest another shot so it can build its very first dog park.

The city is competing in the 2012 PetSafe Bark for your Park contest.

The grand prize is $100,000.

And if the city wins it will build a dog park at Trout Creek Park East.

Last year Allentown made it to the top 15.

Now the city needs your help to win the top prize.

Log onto barkforyourpark.com to vote for Allentown.

You can cast your vote once every 24 hours.

The top 15 cities will move onto the next round of the competition.

And the grand prize winner will be announced on August 3.
