Allentown police investigate dog killing

"Rebel" was shot twice in broad daylight.

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Allentown police are investigating the killing of a dog in broad daylight.

It happened Friday morning in the 200 block of South Madison Street.

A veterinary worker says the dog, a pit bull mix named Rebel, was shot in the head and neck.

A witness tells 69 News she heard two gunshots and saw a dark blue car speeding away.
