Allentown releases more info on Lehigh County Authority's bid

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Some more information is coming out regarding Lehigh County Authority's bid to lease Allentown's water and sewer systems.

On Monday, the city released LCA's Request for Qualifications (RFQ) letter that was submitted back in August.

The Allentown City Council voted last week to accept LCA's bid to lease the systems for the next 50 years.

Mayor Ed Pawloski said the leases were necessary for the city to pay its pension obligations.
