Allentown victim found shot in car, leads to drug arrest

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - After witnesses heard about a dozen gushots Wednesday night, Allentown Police descended on Hamilton Tower where they found 19-year-old Parris Lane shot dead in a car.

That car led police to an apartment upstairs and a drug arrest.

It's still unclear what exactly Shalon Buskirk's son was doing Wednesday night at Hamilton Tower.

Police found Lane's body inside a '98 Infiniti.

Somehow, police tied that car to an upstairs apartment belonging to 21-year-old Joshwynn Garcia.

Police recovered about a pound of pot and a scale after a search warrant of the unit Wednesday.

Garcia is accused of dealing the drug and is behind bars.

It's not clear if police have made contact with the owner of the car where Lane was found shot dead.

Police did not name that person in court filings.
