Allentown's Croc Rock could be demolished

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Allentown's Croc Rock could have a date with the wrecking ball.

Later this month, Allentown's zoning hearing board will consider a request to tear down the Hamilton Street club.

Developers are pitching a multi-story residential and office building to be built in its place.

The Croc Rock lost its liquor license in 2013 and eventually closed in 2015.

Late last year, owner Joe Clark was talking about tearing it down and putting a Motel 6 in its place.
