Arcelay announces run for Northampton County Council

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Ismael Arcelay, assistant to Allentown Mayor Ed Pawlowski, kicked off his campaign for Northampton County Council Friday night.

Arcelay has served as Pawlowski's assistant since 2006. He has also served on Bethlehem City Council and also served as Commissioner for the Pennsylvania Human Relations Board from 2009 until 2012.

On his campaign website, the Bethlehem resident says he "wants to continue to serve his community.", and looks to bring a "strong, independent voice" to the County.
