BASD warns parents about suspicious person

Man seen at school bus stop in Bethehem Township Tuesday morning

BETHLEHEM TOWNSHIP, Pa. - A suspicious person was observed Tuesday morning in the vicinity of the Hampton Road and Birch Drive school bus stop in Bethlehem Township, report officials at Bethlehem Area School District.

They notified Bethlehem Township police, who are increasing patrols in the surrounding area.

The suspicious person is described as a white, male, approximately 5-feet-10-inches tall, 220 pounds, in his 40s, wearing a white zippered hooded sweatshirt, baggy jeans, and sneakers.

Parents were asked to review safety precautions with their children and to immediately notify police if they or their children witness any suspicious activity.
