Bethlehem hockey tournament honors memory of baby who battled rare heart defect

Hockey tournament honors Carson

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Hockey players in the Lehigh Valley hit the ice to remember a little baby who bravely battled a rare heart detect.

69 News was in Bethlehem Sunday for the Carson Kaye Memorial Hockey Tournament.

Carson Mighty Kaye battled several congenital heart defects before dying when he was just four months old back in 2012.

Renee Kaye, Carson's grandmother, said, "He was a beautiful little boy, my only grandson."

The three-day tournament also had a pig-roast., silent auction and a 50-50 raffle.

All of the donations will go to the Children's Heart Foundation in honor of Carson.
