Bicyclist hit by LANTA bus in Bethlehem Township

BETHLEHEM TWP., Pa. - Police in Northampton County are investigating after a LANTA bus hit a man on his bike Saturday.

It happened around 11:15 a.m. in the 3400 block of Easton Avenue in Bethlehem Township, police said.

The 43-year-old man was taken to the hospital with traumatic injuries, officials said. His condition is not known.

One person on the bus was also injured.

The collision shattered the bus windshield.

A preliminary investigation shows the bicyclist darted out in front of the bus, police said.

Officials are continuing to investigate.
