Body shop fire sends thick, black smoke into air

WASHINGTON TWP., Pa. - Thick black, smoke could be seen for miles in northern Lehigh County as it poured from a scrap yard.

The fire broke out Monday afternoon at Hanna's Auto and Truck Recycling in Washington Township near Slatington.

Crews were there for hours.

Initial reports indicate no one was hurt.

There's no word on what sparked the fire.
