Boy riding bike hit by car in Allentown

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - A boy in Allentown was injured when a car hit him while he was riding his bike. 

Allentown fire officials say they were called to 4th and Chestnut streets  around 3:30 p.m. Monday. 

The young boy suffered what appeared to be serious injuries to his lower leg area, according to Allentown fire officials. 

The car remained on scene and the driver is not facing charges at this time.
