Boy Scouts name David Jaindl 'distinguished citizen'

FOGELSVILLE, Pa. - Special honors were given Wednesday night to Lehigh Valley businessman David Jaindl, head of the turkey and land development business that has left quite a mark on the area.

He was honored as 'distinguished citizen of the year' by the Minsi Trails Council of the Boy Scouts before nearly a thousand of the area's movers and shakers.

WFMZ's own Rob Vaughn hosted the event.

Senator Pat Toomey was a co-chair of the dinner, and Jaindl got special kudos from Governor Tom Corbett.
