Catasauqua man faces human trafficking charges in York County

YORK COUNTY, Pa. - A Lehigh County man who worked at Kutztown University is facing charges in connection with a human trafficking probe in York County.

Willie James Johnson, 57, of Catasauqua is accused of trafficking several women in prostitution.

Northern York County Regional Police say Johnson in turn provided the women with lodging at hotels and heroin.

Johnson was taken into custody in Kutztown and transported to the York County Prison where he is being held without bail on human trafficking charges.

Johnson had worked at Kutztown University as an employee of Aramark food services, according to a university official.
