Children with autism meet first responders in the Lehigh Valley

Autism Safety Day

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Children with autism got a chance to get up close and personal with first responders Saturday.

The event gave children diagnosed with autism and their families an opportunity to socialize and interact with several police departments, Cetronia Ambulance and Upper Macungie Township Fire Department.

K9 officers were there too, along with McGruff.

It took place at the Autism Resource Community Hub of Lehigh Valley.
