Children's home staffer sentenced in...

EASTON, Pa. - A former Children's Home of Easton staffer who sexually assaulted teenagers in his care has learned his fate.

Troy Bussey was sentenced Friday morning to 12-to-24 months in the Northampton County Prison.

Between 2013 and 2015, Bussey had sexual relationships with three underage girls who lived at the facility, authorities said. He pleaded guilty to institutional sexual assault in March.

Bussey will also have to register as a sexually violent predator and undergo sex offender treatment.

The other charges filed against him were withdrawn as part of his plea deal.
