Church serves up traditional feast of pork, sauerkraut

NAZARETH, Pa. - For some, New Year's Day is all about the other white meat.

Pork and sauerkraut were on the menu Wednesday afternoon at Belfast Wesley United Methodist Church on School Road in Nazareth, Northampton Co.

The meal is a Pennsylvania Dutch tradition, and it's supposed to bring good luck in the year ahead.

The church was expecting to feed about 50 people
