Controversy continues for planned FedEx hub

Controversy continues for planned FedEx hub

A township supervisor may be a little too close for comfort to weigh in on the fate of a planned Fed Ex center in Northampton County.

Allen Township is appealing to the state to see if township supervisor, Bruce Frack, should be allowed to vote on the future of the planned Fed Ex center.

The issue, the board says, is a conflict of interest: Frack works for the authority that oversees the Lehigh Valley International Airport which sold the land to FedEx for the new hub.

The state now has three weeks to make a decision.
