Coplay man headed to trial in theft at Cosmopolitan restaurant

James Fortunato is headed to trial to face charges that he stole more than $160,000 while working as General Manager at Cosmopolitan restaurant in Allentown.

Fortunato waived his preliminary hearing Monday morning.  He is accused of using the restaurant's bank accounts to make unauthorized purchases.

Investigators said Fortunato spent the money on personal items, dinner cruises and trips to the strip club.
