Coroner identifies victim of deadly crash on Route 145

LEHIGH TOWNSHIP, Pa. - The Northampton County coroner's office has identified the woman who was killed in a head-on crash on a busy road Wednesday afternoon.

Alana Hein, 22, of Walnutport, died at the scene of multiple blunt force injuries, according to the coroner's office, which ruled her death accidental. 

Officers closed Route 145 in both directions in Lehigh Township, near Treichlers Bridge, after the crash.

Officials said Hein and another person were trapped in the wreckage.

The road remained closed for several hours.
