Coroner: Man found dead in Jordan Creek

Body found in Jordan Creek

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - The coroner was called to the Jordan Creek following reports of a body found in the creek.

Around 5:15 p.m. Wednesday, the Lehigh County coroner's office was on scene at the Jordan Creek near the 500 block of North Meadow Street in Allentown.

According to the coroner on scene, the body was that of a Caucasian male, who appeared to be about 40 years-old.

The coroner said that this incident is being investigated as an unknown cause of death.

According to Captain Struss of the Allentown Police Department, the death does not appear to be suspicious, but that is a preliminary report.

The coroner is waiting to notify next of kin before identifying the body.

An autopsy will be done Thursday.
