Couple found dead in Whitehall Twp. home identified

VIDEO: Two dead in Whitehall Twp.

WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. - The couple involved in what multiple sources tell 69 News appears to be a murder-suicide in Whitehall have been identified.

According to the Lehigh County Coroner's Office, the deceased are Kelsy Lynn Thomson, 35, and Brian Thomson, 41, both of Whitehall.

Autopsies are scheduled for Thursday.

Around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Pennsylvania State Police, Whitehall Township police, and the Lehigh County coroner responded to the Thomson home in the 1900 block of Belleview Drive, just off Schadt Avenue.

Whitehall Police Chief Michael Marks confirms the couple was found dead in the home, but would not comment on what killed the two.

Chief Marks did say there is no danger to the public.

Neighbors tell 69 News the couple has two young daughters.

Neighbors also say this is not the first time police have been called to the home, but authorities have not commented on that.

"We were just at their house a week ago," said another neighbor. "Everything seemed great, I thought they were a loving couple, they have two beautiful children."

"I was shocked, we just came back from an appointment and I went for a walk, and I was in total shock," said Carolyn Fortley, a neighbor.
