Court: St. Luke's can't get out of Cullen lawsuit

St. Luke's Hospital is still ensnared in a lawsuit involving serial killer nurse Charles Cullen.

The state Supreme Court has denied an appeal from St. Luke's to get out of a lawsuit filed by the families of five of Cullen's victims.
St. Luke's said it can't comment on the ruling because of a gag order on the case.

St. Luke's was removed from a $95 million settlement involving eight other victims of Cullen in 2010.

The families of those victims are appealing that ruling.

Cullen worked for St. Luke's for two years starting in 2000.

He's serving a life prison term for killing 29 patients in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
