Crash in Bethlehem leaves one person dead

Bethlehem Police ID crash victim

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - One person is dead after an accident that left a busy Bethlehem road shut down for hours.

It happened around 8 p.m. Saturday night in the 1800 block of Stefko Boulevard.

Officials say the driver was 42-year-old Dwayne A. Hackett of Indianapolis, Indiana. Hackett was in town visiting family.  

Police say Hackett lost control of his car, which then crashed into a utility pole near Just Born in the city.

Police say they're still investigating what caused him to crash.
