Crews battle house fire in Moore Township

MOORE TWP., Pa. - Crews were called to the scene of a fire in Northampton County around 1 a.m. Monday.

The fire was initially dispatched as a dryer fire in the 2700 block of East Beersville Road in Moore Township.

Crews kept calling for more manpower to help with the fire as the night went on.

The fire was put under control around 6:40 a.m.

Emergency officials say there are no injuries reported but firefighters were told to get out of the structure at one point.

No word yet on what caused this fire and why it has been so tough for firefighters to get it under control.
