Dead man found in Jordan Creek identified

Deceased was Randy Rice of Danielsville, coroner reports

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - The dead man who was found floating in Jordan Creek in Allentown late Wednesday afternoon has been identified as 52-year-old Randy Rice of Danielsville, Northampton County, by the Lehigh County Coroner's Office.

Deputy Coroner David M. Krause pronounced Rice dead at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

He was found in the creek in the 500 block of North Meadow Street, Allentown.

Rice resided in the 3700 block of Peach Drive in Danielsville.

An autopsy was performed Thursday.

This cause and manner of death is pending toxicology results, reported a spokesman in the coroner's office.
